My '87 635 sits a little high in the front, and is on the original suspension. Figured I'd do the BAV Auto spring/shock kit, and replace all the bushings and everything while i'm at it.
Any tips doing this? I did notice out of the box a "C" clip on the rear shocks that the spring rests on. It's at the highest point. Is that something that's adjustable and if so, is the top ring the right one?
Thanks in advance?

Tips on installing the whole thing? It's fairly easy. Keep note of all of the washers/spacers/ect so they go back in the correct order. Go to autozone and rent a spring compressor.
I can't see your location but if you're in an area with rust, the front shocks might be a pain. The screw collar can become corroded and a huge ass pain to remove. Use heat (torch), a vice and a pipe wrench.
The rear is straight forward. Since the kit already has lowering springs, I'd keep the lower perch on the top setting.
Good luck. If your current suspension is the original 30 year old kit, it'll feel sooo much better after you put the new stuff on.
