Bumpstops for Bilsteins

Post by wattsmonkey »

Starting a new thread on this with simple question: does anyone in the world have a source for them? I've now got three sets of otherwise-good Bilsteins with internal bumpstops which have disintegrated.

I know Brucey managed to get some from Bilstein UK some considerable time back, but I have had no luck whatsoever. Indeed, I bought new front shocks for the M having given up!

If anyone has any they'd be willing to sell me that would be great, too.

Many thanks for any help with this,

Rob

Rob, I may have some used ones that were removed at the beginning of the year if you are interested?
After replacing pretty much all suspension parts, bushes, arms, droplinks, springs, dampers etc etc they are now all surplus.
I was thinking about keeping them as spares or even post on here but have not yet got round to it.
PM for pictures and details.

I gather you've tried Wallothnesch but no luck?

just to clarify, Rob means the bumpstops which live inside the base of the front inserts, rather than the external bumpstops used on all rear shocks (and the fronts too if they are boge ones).

I detailed these here

cheers
