Rear Subframe Bushing Replacement... in car?
I will be replacing e24 rear subframe bushings. Surprisingly, I've never had to do this on an e24. I'm thinking I can do it with the subframe still in the car. Thoughts?

Yes, you can do it on the car. Forum.bmw5.co.uk has an excellent thread on it in the E28 section as a sticky.

Fantastic and thank you! Of course now I have to deal with a 'start then stall unless under WOT' issue that just popped up.

Ok, so part way through trying to remove the subframe bushings with the subframe still in the car, I scrapped that idea. Pulled the subframe out. It was more time consuming, but much easier to deal with. Bonus, the trailing arm bushings had been replaced by a previous owner and were in great shape.
Anyway, all is done and the shark drives very well. Should be perfect after an alignment later today.
