Anyone know of a company that I could send my 1987 M6 front calipers off to to have them rebuilt?
New/rebuilt are prohibitively expensive given that they should be able to be rebuilt.
Cost of having them rebuilt?

Re: M6 Caliper Rebuild Service
i know a local shop that will strip them and powdercoat any color you like. He knows ho to properly mask off the areas that shouldn't be coated, and can even apply emblems under the final clear-coat layer, if desired. Assembly, which is basically jut reintalling the pistons is a piece-of-cake. Hear are the Brembo's I had done recently:
I think I paid ~$325 for for the prep and coating, as mentioned, I had all the pistons back in place in maybe an hour.

Re: M6 Caliper Rebuild Service
I thought I would give it a try rebuilding them myself as it seems pretty straight forward. The issue I ran into is that I couldn't get all of the pistons out of the calipers, even with compressed air, and I really don't want to mess up anything. I MAY have found a local guy here in MA that can do them thanks to the counter guy at my local Napa but, I'll keep your guy in mind as a back-up.
Those calipers do look amazing. Top notch work.

I was doubtful you'd want to send them all the way to Florida, and there must be countless shops in your area that can do such work. Just wanted to offer and example, and cost approximation. For thr sake of authenticity, you might consider having your calipers plated, rather than powder-coated anyway.

Use vise grips to grab the edge of the piston, very tightly, twist and pull.
Then clean up the marks on a bench grinder, piece of cake.

Re: M6 Caliper Rebuild Service
Use a grease gun. Clip onto the bleed nipple, or thread into the regular line connection. Either way should work fine. Use a piece of metal or wood to block the piston that is moving, then get thinner pieces to let the pistons creep their way out together. You can find videos on youtube.
