Hi,
Found a red sticky puddle of fluid beneath my car (under the ps pump) the other day and the first impression was that it must be ATF dripping from the power steering. Upon pumping the brake peddle, however, and assessing the level in the canister there was no evidence of fluid loss. That said, the hose connections were a bit sticky a the lower ends. Is there anything else it could be and is there another popular leak problem with these cars?
As usual, grateful for any assistance.

Re: Power steering leak
If it's an auto, the cooling pipes run from the l/h side of the box and along the outside of the chassis rail, before running under the radiator. They are right in the way of all the corrosive road crap and are another of the rust traps at the front.
