RHD steering box - is it from M635/M5?

Post by Kamil »

Hi Guys,

I've got sterring box from RHD car, allegedly from M635/M5, but I'm not sure about the latter. I've checked on realoem and 4 digits match 32132225313.
Could anyone confirm is it M or regular steering box?

Hi Kamil,

The only way to confirm is to see how many revolutions there is from L to R, Lock to Lock.
The M cars had a quick ratio about 3.0 revolutions.
And normal e24 is 3.5
This is off of a internet site, I cannot verify that this is the truth.

Thank you Jay. I'll do that eventually.

Meanwhile, if anyone could check part no on his car I would be grateful :-)
