Bilstein B6 - but which part numbers?

Post by Pod »

Hi Guys,

Need a little help here. Looking to fit B6s front and back, but there appear to be several part numbers available for the same car - or am I going mad?

Has anybody recently fitted them to a S2 car and if so, do you have the numbers please?

TIA :-)

Pod,
This website may assist you with the selection, I don't have a lot of experience in the shock/strut market, I changed mine out to HD with the help of Bilstein tech support several years ago. They had cross references going from the beginning, it's the same old story, you need to get the right guy on the phone who wants to help.

Bilstein B6 (for std springs, previously known as HD)

Front: 34-002339 (old part number was P36-0233)
Rear: 24-006088 (old part number was B46-0608)

If you are using lowered springs, you need different shocks (Previously known as "Sports". I only have the old part numbers:

Front: P36-0243
Rear: B46-0607
