Hello!
Looking for information on doing this, I have an Mtech 2 wheel im looking to install. Plus having more options for aftermarket in the future. Any one done this? Been looking for a write up but cant find. Is it an easy swap?
Thanks!

Re: Course to fine spline swap
What is involved with the steering colum? is it a direct swap? Do I need a new late model cover?

Not sure never have done it, but the whole column will need to come from a late model to work. 87? but not the airbag model.

I'm pretty sure I've seen it mentioned a few times as something someone did. Finding a used late steering column would be pretty easy. Pulling it from a yard car would give you an idea of what it would be like to re&re your existing one. I'd wonder about turn signal/ wiper connections.
