E24 Shifter Rebuild Questions

Hello All!
Hopefully im posting this in the right place. I have a 1983 BMW 633 CSI. Im about to replace my selector rod shaft seal as it is leaking. While im down there I figure I might as well install a Z3 1.9 Short shifter that ive already bought and all the bushing and washers as well.
HOWEVER, if though there is a ton of information on the net through BigCoup, REALOEM, and BMWFANS, I cant seem to get a straight answer on exactly what parts to change out to reduce sloppy shifting and get everything nice and crisp.
Ive watched "Slownrusty" youtube video a couple times, and using that and the info from REALOEM, ive been able to figure out couple of parts that I need.
For example
https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showpa ... Id=25_0071
I know I need
Number 6
Number 11
Number 14
However, where do I get the bushing for number 8? - Do I need to just buy the entire shifter arm?
Number 2 bushing - That doesn't even look like it exists anymore! I cant find it anywhere and the two Part numbers pull up on different model BMWs!
So I used this link here and ive clicked all links in there as well..
http://bigcoupe.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=23048
In that link there is a diagram that has numbers 2,3,6,11,13,14,15,16,17,18 and 19 highlighted in yellow, is this complete? Is that all I need to rebuild my shifter?
Sorry if im ranting, im not exactly the most mechanically inclined person, but id like to try this myself. Or even if I do take it to a shop, id like to be able to tell them exactly what I want replaced.
Lastly, UUC sells a double -shear selector rod - I understand the benefit, but just based on other people experience, is it worth the money spent? or should I just use the original selector rod?
Thanks for all the help, much appreciated!
