e24 635csi ignition module alternative?

Post by jeme9 » Sun Feb 11, 2018 11:35 am

Hi, fitting M90 to e9 and have M90 from RHD Manual 635csi (5550216) with wire harness and engine ECU but no ignition module or distributor cap or rotor.
I believe ignition module should be 12141267459 (high cost) however am wondering if there is another Bosch ALTERNATIVE if I change the connector, to one that looks like this:

Also, can someone help with a wiring diagram for 635csi 1979 ? thanks
