Those connectors on the top of the engine with a wire bale around them...how do I get them to release. I don't mean the spade connectors.
Never had to take them apart before.....

Close but no. These are mounted through the struts that are bolted onto the valve cover

There are two types of wire bales on the connectors found on the car. One kind has a notch on the long side of the connector that you can push the wire bale into and the sides of the wire will spread and release the connector. For the other kind, you have to use a small screw driver to spread the wire on the small ends of the connector to release them.
Thought so but did't want to bust a fragile plastic connector.

And the clip can let go and flip right down through the hole in the intake manifold and right down to the motor mount, and infact right into the crack between the mount and the engine block. I can see it but have not yet managed to retrieve it...
