You will need to remove the seats and center console, but the whole evaporator assembly is accessible when those parts are out.

I had the whole rear apart a few years ago while I was re-dying the interior. Also a good time to vacuum and clean out that whole area.

I'll give a shout out to Jay Stratton and his rebuilding work. Sent my wingcell away to him earlier this summer and it came back like new. I have no issues paying for someone's knowledge when doing repairs on a device I'm not fully familiar with. No way I want to waste my time/money discovering how NOT to do something and then doing it all over again. Support quality workmanship while you still can... eventually all old-school, rebuild-able parts will be used up and the parts to fix them will also be gone.
