I am a lucky, lucky man...

This is gas on the foam. It was gushing all over, under the car, and that's what I saw when I opened the hood. Anyone had that happen to them?

Where's it gushing from? Cold start injector fuel hose loop often very nasty for perishing.

Fuel return line where it exits the rail ?

Good time to replace all of the fuel lines in the engine bay!

I need to do this on both of my e28's come to think of it...

Yep. Had to jump on a plane, so will not know for a few days, but suspect cold start injector loop...

Yep, happened to me, right near the rail.

I had a new line installed by a mechanic, and I just noticed the hose says "not for use in fuel injection systems"

So, I'm thinking I should take it back to them.
