Spark plug tops

Greetings hope you and your cars are all well. Got some spark plugs for my M6, came without tops. Got some tops online as per Brucey link, fit o.k but are slightly larger than the ones on the bosch plugs I have currently. Would that matter bearing in mind they have to go in the tubes at the end of the M6 ht leads? Thanks in advance. Emmanuel M6
