Fuel tank pumps/lines/Ethanol

Post by jacko »

So, my dodgey in tank pump has me wondering if there might be better components for these than the OEM parts.... especially considering the prices.

SOme people upgrade either in tank or external to a 255 liter per hour pump for about the cost of an oem pump. For fuel lines, I'd simply replace with new fuel injection hose.

So, you mounted this in tank and just took out the old inline pump?

yes, much easier to troubleshoot also!

Mount this pump to the existing pump hanger (swap in/out lines), remove external main pump, leave main filter and re-plumb hoses as needed. It's not as hard as it sounds. Do a search first, guys have done it a couple different ways, but always with good results.
