S38 spark plug reccomendation

Post by Bhart »

I will be checking the valve clearances on my 1987 US spec M6 and will take this opportunity to change the plugs & wires. Is there a consensus on what make and model of plug to use?

The Bosch X5-DC is OEM, but I recall going with an NGK equivalent. I have found that the newer platinum and whatnot plugs don't play nice with older electronics. My 2002 and 68 Mustang actually ran worse on platinum than plain old copper. I say if you are running all stock electronics, then get OEM equivalent plugs.
