The throttle linkage in the M635csi has two push rods looking at each other towards the rear of the engine (the front has only one with the springs) these two are so close together that I cant remove the nuts holding each let alone remove the push rod itself. any idea how it is done?
TIA

I can't quite summon the enthusiasm to venture outside in the rain to check, but iirc, if you drive out the roll pin of one of the operating levers, you can twist theshaft or move the lever freely

Yes, that would take care of the upper one, but how about the lower one?

With the operating lever released from the shaft the lower one will be quite obvious, too: twisting the shaft will move the lever that's still connected, but not the one you've just released.
Incidentally, the later cars have only two operating levers, removing this problem altogether.
