connector for coolant leveling switch

Post by rhanley 635csi89 »

I've had a small coolant leak and have ordered replacement hoses from BMW which should correct the problem as the lower hose from the thermostat housing to the heater core had a pin hole at the clamp at the housing. Original hose! build date 11/88.

While inspecting the expansion tank, see attached photo, I noticed a repair by the PO who used Butt connectors, it works but needs to be replaced. When ordering the hoses I asked the BMW parts man, he was no help. I've search the forum and realoem no luck.

If someone knows and/or the connector number kindly share.

TIA, Roger

I believe you can get the individual connector ends for the wire as well, at least I could on my old e30 when I replaced the sensor on it. I picked up those items from the dealer fairly cheap.
