Cruise control dismantle

Post by 88m6 »

Any take one out?
Not sure how cable and harness are removed?
Harness straight pull?
Bowden Cable...twist?
Have to remove due to years of PS leaking all over it from above and just a sopping mess need to clean all up!
Thx

I have an M6 so I can't help much, but in mine the cable connects directly to the throttle linkage. You just loosen the nut an disengage from the throttle arm/mount. Then pull the metal clip from the connector and un-couple the electrical plug. As I recall, the motor assembly is mounted with 3 bolts.
