Identify this Hose

Post by jl6er »

Guys,
I have the M635 in the shop for some maintenance. The shop is telling me that two of the larger hoses near the intake manifold and valve cover are NLA. The first one I know is Part #11151306958 and I can easily find online, so not sure what they are talking about. The other one, however, I can't seem to identify the correct Part #.

Please see photo in the link below - I put a red circle around the hose in question. Can anyone confirm the Part #?

Thanks in advance!
Justin

Close Ron, but I don't believe that's it.

My M6 has the same intake setup, and that looks like hose #12 in the link above. That hose #12 is NLA. Might have to make something from SS tubing and silicone hoses.

You sure it's NLA, Jose? Still seems available. Here's two links - one from ECS and one from Ebay:

Clearly I remember wrong on that hose. That is definitely the right one with the crazy fused joint.

Justin,

Did they give you the part number for the hose? While 13-41-1-310-699 is available, check and make sure you don't actually need 11-61-1-306-972 instead.

Does the hose connect to 13-41-1-286-065 "L-Shape Idle Regulating Valve" or instead, 13-63-1-272-166 "Additional Air Slide Valve"?

If it's the L-Shape Valve you are good. Otherwise if you have an Air Slide Valve you'll need 11-61-1-306-972 which can be purchase online at schmiedmann.com.

I've found parts for my 85 635 M Euro here when other vendors have said the parts were NLA.

Cheers,

Ed

The shop didn't tell me the part number for the hose that was needed but apparently they were able to find it. Will confirm details when I pick up the car.

Thanks for the input!
