Hey guys, Could someone possibly snap a picture for me of the bracket that the A/C drier is held on to? I can't seem to find one and i believe the bracket is missing from the car that im working on. Also bonus if you guys know if the bracket is sold separately as a part that im able to get from BMW.
Thank you!

There is no bracket. The drier has a stud protruding from the bottom which goes through the bodywork and is held by a large washer and nut.

Thank you Ron, Im having trouble with locating where it mounts then, Underneath the washer fluid reservoir there isn't a location where the drier stud can be secured.

MrCouch, what year 6er are you working on
Most likely makes a difference, my '80 does have a bracket that holds the drier in place

Not sure if this will help, but you can see in this photo, the drier is held in place by a hoop type bracket, secured to the inner fender well, again this is vintage 1980
Also, here's a link to realoem, might want to take a look there for the MY you are trying to figure out

Bobbo is correct. My car, an 81 euro, has that bracket and realoem show it as well through 82
