S38 distributor cap cover

Hi all, I am stumped! I’ve been searching for the distributor cap dust cover for my ‘88 M6. Looking at real OEM, the part is available (#12121716299) and looks correct but that # is the cover for an M30 engine. I went through Seattle BMW who have been awesome in finding parts for this car. It is clearly the wrong part. I’ve searched every car I can think of and they all say it’s the same cover... I’m hoping A) that somebody has one to sell or B) has a real part number to share, or C) has really ANY information that can move my search forward! The car will be at Legends in Monterey this year and that frickin cover is literally THE LAST PART OF THE PUZZLE and is killing me!!!
