ECU Identification Help

Post by Flaggie96 »

I've looked everywhere and I cannot definitively determine what version of Motronic my ECU is. The car is a 1985 euro 635csi (dirty M30B34) and the ECU has 0 261 200 018. The car/ECU is running the two reference sensors on the flywheel. Is "Motronic ML 1.3" the same as "Motronic 1.3"?

No one has chip upgrades for this (Miller,D'Sylva, Dinan, etc.). Just wondering if i could do a simple ECU swap to get more options, but I don't know if having a euro M30 complicates things.

Confused...
