parking lights wont turn off

So just bought this thing 2weeks ago
Water pump went 1 week later! Not that it was a big fix.

Just got home from work and the parking lights front and rear wont turn off even when ignition is off. I drove with lights on coming home. My search has taken me to fuse 23 but this would surely cut lights off. Is there a headlight switch that could be a culprit...very strange
Lucky I love this car and quite frankly cant stop staring at it

Pfitz Does your hazard switch work? On the early cars the turn signals and parking lights route through it. I don't remember if the headlights do as it has been a while but the parking lights and turn signals do for sure. Found that out after much frustration.

Sounds to me like a relay stuck in the closed position, but tracing that down would require knowing what MY your 6er is, etc.

Love your line that you can't stop staring at your 6er, been the same way for me, going on 29 years of ownership

Suffice to say that the feeling will not wear off

Just the weirdest thing. Are the relays in the fuse box?
I’ve had the battery disconnected overnight
