SI Board Instrment cluster rebuild

Post by Machbuffet »

Hi
Could anyone offer any advice on rebuilding the instrument cluster, specifically the SI board
I’ve repaired it so many times myself now but the circuit board is done.
Does anyone have any experience with replacement boards at all. I’ve seen some stuff on battery less SI boards but wondering if anyone could offer some advice
I’m based in UK.
Thanks very much

See my earlier thread about using a Programa board (no batteries). Still having issues with it. The swap itself was pretty easy; getting the cluster out of the car is more time consuming.
