87 635 - Cold Start Problem

Guys - I went away for 3 months and had to leave my car outdoors in a very shaded area on a battery tender. When I returned to start her up, the engine turns over but won't idle. I have to depress the accelerator a fair amount to keep the engine running.
Previously, last summer, I was having a problem of stalling in extremely hot weather idling at a red light. But never a problem in cold weather.
Any ideas would be appreciated!

hello, doing some investigating troubleshooting, keep
it simple, unmeasured air, vacuum leak, hose cracked or broken,.....or, fuel filter clogged,fuel pump kaput (pick up sock/screen clogged), fuel pressure regulator, or... ecu wet/moist, distributor cab/ rotor, wishing you good luck, keep us posted, Franke

One other possible issue - idle control valve sticking.

This ^^^^^^
It's directly related to the period of inactivity. Sticks because it's dried out.
