Recently bought my 87 m6 and noticed some of the OBC functions didnt work as well as the cruise control. After doing some searching I found that the OBC is integrated into the instrument cluster.
I removed the under dash panel and could see the plugs on the SI board were not plugged in correctly. Specifically the blue terminal. I was able to get to it and move the plug without removing the cluster. OBC and cruise came to life again!
Little by little everything is getting fixed.
