Crank case gromitts

Post by Theantony »

Hi Does anybody know the name of the little round discs that go in the bottom of the engine casing. A couple of mine rusted and I have a slight water leak.

Thanks

Are you referring to the freeze plugs :-k

These would be in the block, pressed in and would pop out should you have water instead of coolant in the engine, if the water froze :-({|=

So they could presumably rust as well :-"

Got a pic [-o<
