Hi
Have stripped down my Power Steering Reservior. And cannot remember how it goes back together. Real oem picture shows only one Spring in it, but i have two. A long one and a shorter one which is slightly bigger in diameter.
The diagram on real oem shows the long spring on top of the main strainer, but it would be impossible to compress it to attached the clip, plus real oem shows three clips, I only have two.
It’s a head scratcher.

Might be a bit late for you now but here is what I noted down when I took it apart:
You can double up on the final to C-clips, but it's hard work and probably not required, in fact mine only had one when I first took it apart. The real oem diagrams are not always accurate in terms of how things go together.
The rubber gasket at the bottom is not shown in realoem for the E24, so I used one from an E31 I think.
