Here is a link to the easiest to use ETK online, just enter the last 7 digits of your VIN or click on the Archive link and drill down by production code or options:
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/select.do
This is not the original Mobile Tradition ETK, this one does not require any registration but is missing a few options (like parts interchange). It is simply the easiest way to look up part number and get a hold of a few diagrams.
Enjoy,
Klaus

Here is the link to the BMW ETK, complete with all the interchange and availability functions:

Unfortunately registration is required and is quiet complicated if you do not speak German (but you can ask me anytime to translate...).

Parts Interchange?Klaus wrote: (RealOEM.com) ........... is missing a few options (like parts interchange).
You can enter a part number into RealOEM and it will return a list of all of the BMW Models and years that this part number is used on. Is this different then the BMW Site Parts Interchange?
Re: Online ETK - the most important link!
Looks like the complete parts interchange has been added after I posted the original link in early 2005.chris Wright wrote:Parts Interchange?Klaus wrote: (RealOEM.com) ........... is missing a few options (like parts interchange).
