Inspiring indeed, that is some serious dedication and work =D>

I would like to hear more about how you refinished the interior, just cleaning or redyeing :-k

Looking forward to the finished product [-o<

Really, are they ever finished :-?
Thank you, I want to have car in perfect condition :)

About the interior.
The dashboard had 3 minor small cracks which were welded and then whole dashboard was painted in same colour.
All other parts were in great condition (also seats) so those parts were also painted in special colour for leather.
I let professionals do the job and the interior really looks like new.
Will see how long painted seats will last, otherwise I will redyeing everything

We did some small progress on it (Which took a lot of time).
Finished and checked all the fuel hoses (Over night 10l fuel escaped because we forgot one small hose on injector fuel rail)
Image

Then we finished vacuum (Will get new clamps and some hose on Monday) plus we installed oil catch can

Got the OEM brand new dog leg shifter knob
Image

Also got this bracket brand new from the dealer for the gearbox
Image

Whoever said E24 paddle box is EOL and that the E28 paddle box will fit is wrong!
The E24 paddle box you can get brand new from the dealer and the E28 paddle box does not fit at all!
Image

Got some more parts for manual swap from the dealer and also new wiper motor (Not sure if mine is working, however I'm not gonna drive it when it will rain, just want that this will work)
Image

I connect cluster and hey, good news! It's getting power!!!
Image

Soon we will turn on the engine!
