Cold Start valve..Removal techniques HELP !!!
Okay Board..I need your help
The car is an'83 633 5 speed 145K and a real great cruiser...Limited slip diff. and a family member at this point.
ISSUE: Cold Start Valve ( CSV) needs to be removed. I 've traced the no start situation down to this one last item. Thermotime changed, Fuel Filter changed, fuel relay, main relay double checked ..Car turns over but does not catch. I sprayed starter fluid in the hose for the CSV and she fired up..CSV must go..after 26 year..its time.
There are two 10mm bolts that are near impossible to remove.
So, what are the quick and easier ways to remove? Yes, I have a new CSV in hand.
Thanks !
Reggie

Heads I get my hands dirty, Tails I hire the kid next door to get his small hands and long arms dirty. Most definitely change out the fuel line with new correct FI rated (8mm or 5/16) hose.
