Re: My E24 passion

Another year has passed and my Baltic Blue 635CSi is now 37 years old, and has passed another MoT test. There are a few ball joint rubbers to look at but otherwise mechanically it is running well. Of more concern is the bodywork; it is starting to bubble and blister in a number of places and will need some inner wing welding at some stage in the future... and I'm still suffering intermittent speedo problems.

It is used very sparingly as a fifth car these days but I must take it for a good run regularly to keep the mechanicals in good condition. I will do a few bits and pieces over the summer months and tackle this, and the Great White M635's handbrakes over the winter - I think I'm look at new new shoes, springs, levers, adjusters and even discs - I can honestly not remember when I ever did anything to them.

Edit to add; I did find another, the other Alpina B12 5.7 lwb this year but it was in a very poorly way and even unable to be driven.
