The car is looking fantastic as always.

It's sad when the $ runs out. You should do well at repairing other BMW's. Did u end up making any of those magnificent looking headers? Pity your not in Australia Peter.

Peterpilot,

Do you have access to a single wiper system for the car? I'm looking for one now.

Thanks in advance!

Sorry guys, I haven't been on the site forum for a while.
The single wiper system was modified from an original system.
I have started on the exhaust headers. I have tacked together a LHD one for the race car as the one on the car at present Ian for a RHD and is 38mm dia. The new one is 41.
I will try and get stuck in to some more RHD ones.
I have fitted a new radiator to the car and have a better head on it now. Should be testin at the beginning of next month.

Peter,
Phenomenal work! You could make a s'pot o'dough running a restoration shop here in Trumplandia. I was quoted $20 thou for painting, supplies and parts without any interior work. Jolly ole England, land of Brexiters seems to have an abundance of rusted 6'ers that have not yet been found by the breakers.
I noticed that you kept the original fuel fill door on the side while you have the trunk mounted race filler. Odd oem touch.

Abunch of us want to know more about the dash restoration, including materials. So now that winter is coming to your half of the globe, what's on the program?

Peter's got skilz, dammm

Best,
Ken
