My ALPINA B7 turbo replica

Post by m7pietjem6 »

I have been on and off working on this project for a couple of years now. It started out as a stranded project and that is how I bought it, it had no exhaust, trim, bumpers, lights, interior, and windows.
But it did have Alpina 18 inch wheels from an E31 B12 coupé and an 3.5 M106 turbo engine with a switched automatic 4 speed. The metal work was al in good order and there was no rust to be found. As I parted out a few 6 series over the years I had plenty parts lying around and so I started with it.
It looks like this at the moment.

I found an Alpina intake manifold and a display that is build in the dashboard. I ordered a new front spoiler and found a used rubber booth spoiler from an Original B7 Turbo coupé. I want it to look as much as possible like a real E24 B7 Turbo.

Love the classic wheel look! I'm not big on the steering wheel or gauge cluster but love the car otherwise. I think the B7 is probably the best ever looking 635!

What a great project. I hope you get it all put together.
I stalled out on my own turbo project through other distractions.
Love the color combo.
