Hey everyone, just got my new to me 635 home
Its not in the greatest of shape but definitely saveable.

I am planning an LS 5.3 swap (ya ya i know sacrilege)

Anyway I will post some pics tomorrow.

I would not do it but am not against it. Did consider an LS3 swap at one time. In hindsight, it would have been cheaper. I would have loved to have seen the 4.4 litre BMW engine in a 6'er.

LS motors are a dime a dozen.. you can pick up a hopped up one for $2500 around here. GM put them in everything.

after not being able to find a decent mileage or priced engine im gonna try out a different swap.
I am going to use a 4.2 straight 6 chevy DOHC, guys have used them in datsun 240z, supras and other swaps so should fit ion the e24 ok
These 6s are almost 300 HP and 300 FT LB torque stock so should be a nice little engine.

I put a deposit down on a trailblazer with a 4.2 on friday adn ill pick it up next week so ill start posting some pics.

I still have to pull the old BMW 6 out this week as well.
