Not very useful to anyone but my '83 633 passed Cali smog test on Friday with flying colors. I didn't do any prep - just took a chance and came up a winner.
The tech did point out to me that the vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator was disconnected, and that some idiot had trapped the vacuum line that goes to the interior temp sensor when they replaced the starter.
That idiot is me...
So I'm looking at backing off the starter mounting bolts to get the hose free, hopefully without removing the starter. My back twinges just thinking about it.
BTW the tech said to just cut off the hose and patch in a new section, but I'm not down with half-assed work, even when its my own!
