BMW Classics Ireland Open Day 2014

Post by Ubercoupe »

Everyone Welcome! Time: June 8, 2014 all day

The 3rd BMW Classics Open Day is taking place in Mark Allen BMW Specialists in Straffan Co. Kildare, Ireland in association with BMW Classics Ireland.

http://bmwclassicsireland.com/events/bm ... n-day-2014

We got a super turnout last year and the field location giving the show plenty of room for expansion. Bigger and better hopefully.
We decided to support a new charity this year as well and proceeds of this years event going to the Jack and Jill foundation.

Admission by donation

The following is back (by popular demand!!!)
1.Show and Shine: prizes on the day for the best cars, and a few other classes as well..

2.Free tech factsheets handouts and information on all classic BMW models.

3.On-site mechanics (if you want to ask them anything or get them to have a look at a problem).
4.Food, drink and a range of family entertainments, including a bouncy castle and face painting.

5 Guess the crushed car competition.
6.We've a few other plans this year and will get them finalised closer to the date

I'm so very disappointed that I won't make this again............ :( My car won't be finished until late July / August.
Everyone I have spoken to that has attended previous events have praised it as one of the best get togethers of the year and I was struck by the level of effort that was clearly put into it last years show to make it a success.
I'll be there in spirit if nothing else and look forward to seeing LOTS of photos from the day.
But I warn you , [-X I'll be there next year ...............

WOW!!! Triple WOW!!! The 2002 Touring winner has a priceless expression!

If that balloon hadn't been there, I would've guessed the crushed car WAS a 320i.
How close am I?

Glad to see an E12. Great pictures. Almost like I was there, huh? =D>
That was fun!
Thanx,,,,Greg

Yes the expression of the young girls face was priceless, she spent the day reading a book in her Dad's e28 M535, ...probably a little bored. Then suddenly she won the freshly restored 2002 touring out of the blue, 17 years old and just got her licence. Perfect Day.

Hi Don, I know your car is a winner in the waiting. You should still make it up sans e24. I think you would enjoy the day!

Oh , I don't know ...... they all look spectacular . =D>

Congratulations on deservedly winning best e24 .

It seems to have been another successful show and how you managed to avoid the rain I don't know because we were subjected to monsoon conditions down here .
