Good point Ellis. Anyone who's taking a ride with Paul is advised to BYO music on compact cassette tape.

Gaz, over the years lots of people have brought kids; some have even brought their significant others and are still allowed out on cruises.

Have a good and safe trip up Gaz, 65 mm of rain will run down the gutters quicker than you lose demerit points.

Ellis, have a safe trip up from Capital City.

I'm looking forward to seeing everybody in the morning. A reminder to bring walkie talkies for those that have them.

Regards

for those of us who have never been on a club drive other than by one's self there had better be a stack of photos and heaps of funny stories. (You listening Ellis)

Best wishes to all involved and a safe return to everyone.

Cheers Vinny

Alll arrived safe at Richmond
Classy looking place

Trip was good but tiring with the dogleg.
I was shocked to get decent fuel economy.
650km for 58ltrs including 250km of hills driving from Melbourne yea Mansfield Whitfield then in the depressing Hume.

The rain was shocking from about belangalo forest turnoff to about 80km south of Sydney. The same people hogging the right lane in the dry wert belting thru the tain tailgating at 130km/h.

If it's safe to stay in Richmond I'll find somewhere local.

If that is the case then I have the best running 635 in Oz, 20,000km in 18 months.

Guys - thank you all for a wonderful trip yesterday...and the photos which should keep me grinning for a while longer yet! Lydia had a great time as well. She's not a car enthusiast and I did see her reach for the door handle on a number of occasions and go very quiet when the driving got a bit more enthusiastic  Looking forward to the next drive...and if we can inspire some more L platers to drive something more inspiring than a Camry then all the better. Cheers Andrew & Lydia
