I dropped them an email last night and as yet haven't heard back. I'll try again tomorrow and up the numbers accordingly.

Reservation has been made, table will be set, drinks will be cold, food will be ready.

(it's just a table(s) where you can get bistro or takeaway type food, nothing fancy)

I was hoping for caviar and buckets of cold prawns fresh from the ocean and gallons of champagne. Pie and chips again..................

Should be fun anyway.

See you on saturday!

Thank you Ben, that was a great run. Good fast roads, good turnout of cars and some new faces plus a great lunch spot made for an excellent day.

For the first time ever i didn't take a single photo so we'll have to wait for Ellis to post his up. It's another run worth doing again.

Regards
Paul

No worries guys - I enjoy organising cruises where like minded folk attend who enjoy a rapid but not stupidly fast drive. I honestly cannot say I had one single favourite part of the drive as each of the roads were memorable in their own right. One thing that will stay in my mind is the lady who's daughter had a pup....

Thanks to :
Ben for arranging a great day.
Peter and Greg for the interesting conversations on racing cars (bloody good)
Josh for allowing me to drive his 4 speed, brings back great memories when I was so young. Can't wait to drive it again after you do all the suspension mods.
Mr Ed and Paul for their leadership.
I wonder if Paul was white knucked on the Putty Road to take pictures!
Thanks to everyone
Regards,
Team Serco

Thanks everyone for coming along and making this a great country run. We finally reached our goal of six Sixers on a cruise, and a stunner of an E9 to top it off.

Really good to meet the enthusiastic enthusiasts Peter & Margaret and Greg & Kate too. It would be great to have you join us for future get-togethers like this one.

I'm working through my photos and will put them up sooner or later, but here are couple of shots of us in full flight to pass the time.

Check out how great we all look. I've started a separate thread of pictures in the good old Gallery section.

I could not catch Ben in this race. He's red 88 635 is so well balanced, has such pace that my 5 speed 3.21 litre struggled! Look at the black cloud coming off of the rear of my car! I was driving hard, fast and still came last! Ben can sure drive! Shows his talents are not limited to good looks and he's taste in cars!

A really great time guys! I look forward to Allans comments when he next drives the car post spring and sway bar work. Should be ready for the next drive. I may even take Ben on again!
