High Plains Raceway Lapping Day - 11/11/2012
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Winter pricing starts up at HPR soon, and I was planning to make it out to the track for an open lapping day on Sunday 11/11/12. I'm planning to drive my 535i.

I am planning to head out there with a few Eric Long (likely in his E28 M5). Anybody else who wants to join, feel free to come on out there to either drive, ride, or just spectate.

Winter pricing is about $100 for the day and the track is open from 10-4pm with no lunch break.
There are two groups of drivers, but this only happens if the weather is good, and if there are enough registrants.
It looks like this day will be the HPR North course due to some track repairs.

Here's some info regarding lapping days: http://www.highplainsraceway.com/pdf...y-Policies.pdf

You can register online here by clicking I Agree: http://www.highplainsraceway.com/lapping-days.html

Planning to head out there with some people from Bimmerforums who were interested. It would be great to see some sharks there, even if just spectating!

Who wants to join us?
I was thinking we could caravan down at least part of the way down to Byers.

It sounds like Brian Wiffen wants to drive the Full course on 11/17. If weatehr does not cooperate on the 11th, I will plan to make that date.

Have a group of about 6 or so BMW's coming out. If you want to spectate or ride-- this is the time to do it!

You need a helmet, but I have a spare I can bring if anybody wants me to...

When's the next one!??

I do need to do some work on both cars, but the 535i needs a new front hub/ bearing assembly before going out again. Hoping to do that within the next few weeks.

Brian and I made it to Customer appreciation day last Sunday. What a blast! His Euro 635 had just a bit more power than my 535i, but we could hang together quite well!

Brian's Euro with over 312,000miles!!! Looked right at home on track.
