Travelling Shark Fest - Coming To An Ocean Near You

Post by MrsBee »

And seeing as how there are only two connected to this continent and I plan on seeing them both.

My plan is trying to have a sort of convoy between each city/town/hole in the wall and have various shark (or even non sharks) accompany me down the road. Almost like a whole convoy across america. It'll happen.

AND.

I finally have a picture of my baby to show you. I mean think about this - I've been working on this thing since March (when the article first ran). Nine months I'll be waiting until I actually get to see the thing in person. At least it has had good parents that are willing to let me adopt him (or maybe her?)

When are you planning to do this?
You could stop in Colorado for Drive 4 Corners in early August, or BMW CCA Oktoberfest in June (i think?).

I have come to the conclusion that a 6er is a "she". That realization came during a spirited drive when I realized that my gal has a big, glorious rear end that has to settle when I brake hard and then pitch her into a turn.

Hey, I think they can be males or females. My one series, he's a boy named "The Tard".

I'm thinking it's a boy - I have a feeling its going to steal my heart and crush it like a paper cup and then leave me crying on the side of the road. Boys do that.

Love those wheels.

Have you considered a police escort for your procession? That would also solve the potential security concerns.

Seriously, a 6er parade sounds fun, too bad it will not come through this area. I know you said the itinerary is final, once and for all and really this time, but you should jink north just before you arrive home and do the Tail of the Dragon.

Oh, the Tail in on the list for my Summer Time Shark Adventure. See, I've got a list of people about four pages long that want to see the shark and participate in the adventure. It's kind of sad that I can't see everybody all at once, but the shark will roll on.

I'm liking the wheel, kind of...I guess I have black wheels on my One Series and am a huge fan of the fact you can't see the brake dust on them. That stuff drives me insane - but I'm thinking this shark has so much ahem, "character" that it might not bother me too much.

So, if I were to plan a large gathering of motor vehicles to park and party in a town called Schulenburg would you sign up to show your shark and visit with other car enthusiasts?

Here's the deal, I'm really trying to get a show and shine going and have run into some complaining from headquarters because we're going to have multiple marques and such and we can't figure out how to insure it.

So, if I were to do an indy car show - a good old fashioned one on a little downtown main street - would you go?
