Sadly, I actually won't be able to make it this year

But if you're a left hand coaster, I highly recommend that you try and make this event, surely the biggest 6er only event out thisa way

Dang, I can't make it either. Too bad it's not in Lake Tahoe or Monterey, that was a fun venue

He came out to PSF04 (I think) and some time after that we started to exchange emails and whatnot :-?

Been over a decade now that we've been extremely close friends, albeit from 1300 miles away #-o

Gene has also made it out to several of the left hand coast events, but more times flying out than driving

Ya know Tom, every year when you get 4 corners going, I tihnk to myself, "man, I gotta hit that event one of these years" :-k

One of these years

I took a look at the evite. I could only make one day and it's a 4 or so hour drive one way for me to get there.

I don't think I will make it this year after all.

Took a dry run last weekend with Paul. It will be good. This year will include:

May 1st, Friday afternoon / evening, drive to Cambria on the Pacific Coast for dinner.

May 2nd, Saturday morning tour of Warbirds Aviation & Car Museum. (We wil be there ahead of the Lancia Club, so we get the good parking).

Saturday lunch at a nearby golf course

Saturday afternoon drive to Pozo (pronounced Poso, Spanish for "well") This place is rustic, out of the way, and routinely has big name concerts. Plenty of "character" to say the least.

Saturday tours of the Firestone Brewery

Saturday dinner at Firestone.

Hope to see you there. Advance notice is much appreciated as it allows us a chance to do sufficient planning. See the link above for the "Evite" for more details.

Hotel / Motels in Paso Robles have rooms available.

Steve

Unfortunately no, I don't arrive in NorCal now until May 21.
I missed to many events over the last few years due to scheduling and projects South of the border..

Should be 30 plus e24/6 series in attendance though. Y'all have fun & be safe.

Thanks. :D Will do, and sorry you are not able to make it. I am in countdown mode now though and I still have to change a hose in the cooling system... hopefully I won't miss anything. Definitely will post some pics though.

Uh, photos, fellas . . .

PD Posted up some pics via Evite..

Possibly folks have posted to Facebook or other social media? Not sure as I don't have a FB account.
Would be great to resurrect/update the PSF site. Any suggestions?

Sorry, missed most of the event. I was nursing a coolant leak most of the way down. I got it sorted out after a short tow on what was supposed to be day 2. Fortunately when I sat down to dinner, a knowledgeable guy told me to just bypass the heater valve.

Ultimately there was coolant leaking straight down from the crappy MTC valve. I actually thought there was a crack in the plastic valve housing, but I saw there are three holes on the bottom of it when I pulled it out to bypass it.

I guess the silver lining is that you learn about these things when they get screwed up. Anyway, it is beautiful scenery down there and I learned a nice scenic route to drive back up from Paul. It was gorgeous and I snapped a few pics but not with the car. I am a big fan of Paso Robles now.

Thanks, she's still running fine with the bypass (and much better after swapping wheels). It was really nice to meet you. Helluva car you've got!
