Drive 4 Corners 2015 - Registration Open!
Mark your calendars, D4C 2015 dates have been announced!
2015 marks the fifth year of this annual event and is now supported by the town of Pagosa Springs. This years marks a huge milestone in our event as we have the local support matched with our existing regional support. The goal is to create an event that is attended from the surrounding Rocky Mountain Region, with additional draw from coast to coast. The fifth annual also marks the first event that has a capped event limit, a maximum of 125 participant cars. This restriction is to maximize the event size while simultaneously maintaining the relaxed and intimate event feel. The event will break the 100 car mark, and is hoping to do so while also including the most mixed group to date, both with regards to BMW models present, and with participant draw from various states. The town of Pagosa Springs has acknowledged the BMW gathering and will provide additional sponsorship to help promote the event and gathering in the local community.
And if you haven't seen the video from 2014, take a look!!!

2015 date is August 7-10, 2015.
Once again, our aim is to make this year the biggest and best yet. For some additional information, see our 2015 event Announcement.
If you are interested in attending, please visit the2015 Event Registration page.
Let me know if you have any questions, but I hope to meet a few more shark owners at this event!

Some Registration stats. If he makes it, the 327 will be the oldest BMW up the pass at the event ever!!

Haha not at all! It would be great if you could make it! It's more about driving our cars to get out there and much less a show, but rather more along the lines of a car meet/gathering (just at a destination location rather than a wendy's parking lot).kief wrote:Is this only for "good" cars? Haha cause mines a bucket if you ask most people
If you email me at [email protected], and tell me the number of nights, I could get you discounted rates at Choice Hotels along the way to/from.
Let me know!

More photos being processed, but here's some more eye candy for you all. I'll sit down and write a review for those interested, but it won't be out for another week or two.
In the mean time, here's the 2015 graphic. The event tee's featured the E39 M5 on the front for our 5th annual event.
There is a great mix of new and old cars, but we split them into groups for our group drive. This way each owner gets to drive in a group with cars of a similar vintage. You will see the mix of cars atop our photo location, which is indicative of the variety of vehicles present throughout the weekend.
Here's the 2015 Highlight Video that has been put together.

D4C 2015 was the 5th annual event. Because of this, one of the feature cars was the E12 5 series. So great to see such great representation from Andy Antipas in his E12.
The first D4C motorcycle participant was 'Rocket' John Nassar. It was fitting since the 2015 event tee has a K1200R motorcycle on the back.
The silky smooth V12 M70 engine was on display again in Buck Clifford's 750iL. They showed up in force in 2014 and earned a spot on the D4C 2015 event shirts. Glad you made it out again, Buck!
The 'Over The Hill Award' for the oldest car over Wolf Creek Pass was Art and Betsey Krill's beautiful 1971 1600 Cabriolet. What an immaculate car to enjoy for the weekend in the Colorado sun!
The D4C 2015 Fan Favorite Award went to Rick Meinig for his beautiful 1937 327. This car is the oldest BMW to ever come to Drive 4 Corners, and won this award well-deservedly.
The award for 2015 D4C Furthest Distance Traveled was presented to Garrett Farmer in his custom modified E30 widebody. His stop in Pagosa Springs was approximately 3000 miles into his 'Lap of America' and over 1700 miles one way to his starting point. Check out his website http://www.thewidewayround.com for more details on his quest!
The new 'D4C Addict' award went to Andres Alcaraz, or shall we call him his nickname, PAPRMKR. Andres was recognized for attending multiple years in multiple vehicles all the way from California. He did not ever win the furthest distance award, but the organizing team felt he needed some recognition. Check out the size of those wheels! (Travisj was also admiring the D4C flag he had made in the background of this photo).
The fifth annual D4C recognized the E39 M5 as the feature car. This tire punishing machine also graced the front of the 2015 limited edition tees, turning rubber into endless plumes of smoke. We were glad to see the E39 M5's showed up to wolf Creek Pass in bunches!
Speaking of Wolf Creek Pass, here is the D4C 2015 crew at approximately 10,000 feet about to pose for a photo.
Just a few of the plaques for the award winners.
Robert Bondi in his immaculate E12, with recent 3.7L M30B34/MM engine swap.
Jim (5280 JB) in his super clean M535i. You wouldn't believe he drove it at all if I didn't share these photos, he keeps it that clean!
Jeff Milarsky in his E28 M5. Each year he has more work done to it, and he takes a drive up from NM in between performances to join in the fun.
J Blue from Texas.
Calendar-worthy
Neel's M3
And some more photos, a few from one of our Poker Run stops, where a photographer was waiting.
More photos being added in our 2015 gallery, here: http://drive4corners.com/photo-gallery/ ... l-gallery/
