NEGATIVE FEEDBACK for creame24

Post by SenorShark »

Robert seemed nice when I corresponded with him to buy the front windshield trim for my 6er. That is all that I wanted. He then misled me that due to it's cumbersome shape it would cost $45 to ship the item. This was not the case unfortunately for me. I sent the money thru friends & family which is where I got burned. I assumed that all of the people on this forum are nice, honest people as the ones I have interacted with have been.

Instead, I got a box of junk and some bent trim. I tried to sell the salvageable bits to recover the $85 I threw away ($40 + $45 shipping), but had no luck. The sad part is the windshield trim was the only bit I wanted and it was ruined.

From another perspective, those trim pieces to get this way when you take them off. I don't think there is a nicer way to take them off and make them look pretty. IIRC, they get better looking when you install them. Just my $0.05 without taking sides

Well, that's the name I got from the emails. Anyways, my main thing on this was paying an outrageous amount to have a pile of junk shipped to my doorstep. The windshield trim weighs maybe a pound. I should have been suspicious when you wouldn't give the weight and dimensions of the package you were sending. Oh well. Anyways have fun on the e30 forum, maybe they're more akin to this type of crap, who knows.

Yes, they can be bent back to a mild extent, but excessive bending compromises the structural integrity of the metal which isn't very high in the first place. Btw I removed some trim from a salvage yard after this and it came out just fine. Also some trim pieces just don't have it in them to bend well as it's a 30 year old piece of mild metal.

It was difficult to find a box to fit the shield in. You only paid $40 but shipping was a lot. It was due to the dimensions not the weight. You never asked for any information based upon the item. Or else I would have sent it all. Try to ship something out that awkward and get back to me. Sorry usps charges up the ass

I paid $45 for shipping and it was $45. The reason it was so much is due to the weight of 15 lbs and 4 oz. I've attached the PayPal invoice, our emails, and the postage. You can act like I didn't ask for information all you want, but that simply isn't the case.
I really need to get a paypal, using his makes me feel like a catfish. You do realize you just exposed your home address as well. I tried by best, and clearly that didn’t work out. Robert is not to blame for any of this, as I feel bad as you post all of this while exposing his info in the process. It is the case, you need to be clear. And my bad for not saying my name beforehand. I tried packaging it and he said it looked fine. Not taking his word anymore
