S'funny Brucey , but there was a time long ago that I would be drooling over some of them but I guess age does bring some sensibilities ..........

I guess I've missed that particular fad......... :D

I just don't get "stretched tyres "

I don't mind abit of lowness but when the chassis rails are crawling on the ground it's a bit creepy.

well it isn't my cup of tea really either, but fair dos for having a go I suppose...

I guess if today's yoofs still think the E24 a little bit interesting, it is no bad thing overall.

If this car has airbags in then there is a chance it'll drive OK without dragging its backside down the road, (like a dog with an itchy bottom... ?  )

cheers

I am not a huge fan of super low cars either-- I like DRIVING them most, looking at them is great, but 'slammed' ride height doesn't make it look any better.

The first car has bags, there are Youtube videos of it. Pretty awesome I think. If I had the spare cash to put into my ride I would but I am happy with performance springs and shocks. The funds can go to having a better engine performance.

Looking at these cars all I can think of is how quickly I would destroy my front spoiler.

Here's one on ebay UK at the moment for £9,250.

Not my cup of tea, but I can appreciate the work that's gone into it :-k

The macau blue one is 5 minutes up the road from me

The one on eBay I know as well

There's a few others around the UK too

It's not for me and certainly not on a drivers car.

Obviously not meant to be driven this way. And I doubt it would actually drive this way without breaking something. It's meant to be visually appealing, and a large part of me thinks it looks tough as hell. This low it has to be bagged, the driver would fire it up, look ghetto bad for a minute and then push a button to raise it up to drive height before driving very far.
I can't help but like it some, but it wouldn't be my car. I like to "drive aggressively" and would peel those rubber bands off the rims in short order. Don't care for the stretched tires...
But the car looks bad ass as art ...but then again it's hard to make an e24 look bad anyway.
