Longer wheel bolts for 1988 M6 for use with Style 42 wheels

Post by alinyc »

I managed to buy a very clean set of Style 42 wheels with relatively new tires pre-mounted. The front wheels would not mount on the 1988 M6 - they were hitting the struts. The fix was to use 8mm spacers.

Now the problem I have is that the bolts used look like crap and I am looking for bolts presumably 8 mm longer than the stock Style 42 bolts.

Any idea where I may be able to get these?

TMS (Turner Motorsport). You need original length plus thickness of spacers, but might have to go to 10. Don't get them any longer else you may foul the ABS sensor shroud.

What tires are you running? style 42s shouldn't need spacers.
