M66 M - Parallel wheels..

I know this has been covered , but I cant remember or find the info , but on the E39 540i M66 M Parallel wheels , these being 17 by 8 front ET20 and 17 by 9 rear ET26 , these will fit an E24 right? If so , are rings needed or is it a straight bolt up? Thanks so much in advance!
The Part numbers are: 36112229035 (rear)
:36112228995 (front)

Yes they will fit, yes you will need centering rings.

I just purchased a set of these, 17x8 front, 17x9 rear with 235/45/17 and 255/40/17Â tires. Are spacers needed or just rings?

Just the hubcentric rings. 74.1 to 72.56.
