E31 Alloys on 635csi

Post by GregB86 »

Hi Guys,

I have recently bought a 635csi which currently sits on the original 415 TRX wheels and Tyres. I plan to keep these for shows but for day to day use I would like to find some standard size alloys, preferably 16". Ive noticed some interesting 16" E31 alloys from an 840ci, would these fit on without to much trouble?

Not 100% sure on the fronts but the rears would fit fine as I had a set for a short while on my e24. It was 2 sets of rears and the m has 4 piston brakes which I needed 15mm spaces to clear them.

Thanks for the reply! Yes it was the front s I was worried about, havent seen many pictures of E24's with E31 alloys so thought perhaps there may be an issue.

I have a spare set of genuine 17" Alpina alloys and decent tyres if of any interest?

ETA - these are staggered 8.5 front 9.5 rear and E24/E28 offset

8 series offset is 10 front and 19 rear which is perfect for a 6 series!

Although some 8's had an offset of 15 which is also fine.

What would you sell your Alipna wheels for? Can you mail me a picture to [email protected]? Any picture of a car with these wheels/ tires?

Got 850 style 8 wheels on mine and I'm satisfied with the look. Been on several years. Have big brakes, 750 front and 540 rear. No fitment issues. Don't have any pics though, sorry.
