Hey guys so I found these wheels for my e24.

The set up is like this:
Size: 18X9 (Front) / 18X10 (Rear)
Offset: +30 (Front) / +25 (Rear)

I know some people have gone 10.5 on the rear with no issues(of course with little mod). I've also done some research and seen some people who have done 8.5 on the front but haven't gone wider. My current setup on the front is 225/40 R18 , 8.5 width with 35 mm of offset(I am using spacers on the front). Not sure if it will rub the outside or not. I did used the website willtheyfit.com to check how it can potentially look(but never done this before and it's still hard to understand how offset works and how to read the diagram on the website). Has anyone gone through this, any opinions? My e24 is not gonna be so much for track or anything, it's just my weekend car. (When I get it start running lol )

I'm not sure how big are my spacers at the moment. I have to double check on them. Maybe I can reuse them.

I have 8.5" et45 rims (E36 fitment) with 235/40/18 tires on the front of my 85 635. I'm using 25mm hubcentric spacers to end up with an effective offset of 20. No rub, inside or out. Close, but they clear.

The rears are 9.5 wide, 255/35/18s. Offset is et35. Same 25mm spacers, effective 10mm offset. No rub.

My 17x9 fit nice as et12 but on a skinny 225/45 tyre which have about 5mm from the inner and rears have more freedom. Anywhere from et15 to et3. Et3 are fine with slightly stretched 255/40 tyres. If going for 275/35 u would need et10-15.

18" would make things a little tighter at the front. Perhaps some of those fixed camber plates -1.5 front camber, will help With guard clearance so u could go about et5 to 8.

So 30et is pretty much impossible? Did not knew about camber plates, will look into that more. I really like the wheels plus good deal since it's new.

Front Et 30 would need a 20 or 25mm hubcentric spacer that's all

Rear would need a 15mm or 20mm depending on how big a tyre u run.

If u want the wheels buy a 15 20 and 25 mm spacer pairs so u can stuff around. U can always sell off the surplus spacer pair u don't need
